Hi, Im Carli

Carli Genet, LICSW therapist in New Hampshire, specializing in EMDR, somatic, attachment, and mindfulness therapy

I want to help you understand and connect to exactly the person you are meant to be, individually, in your community, and as part of this world.

Specializing in intensive relational and somatic support using EMDR and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy we’ll work together to heal the wounds that make it difficult for you to be who you are meant to be.

My work as a therapist specializing in intensive healing modalities allows me to bear witness to truest selves coming to life through connection.

It is my belief that our systems - energetic, physical, emotional, and spiritual - require special holding and space to uncover and move through the pain that sits at the bottom of it all.

It’s in these moments that the experiences that have felt like your entire story become just a chapter in your book. Or, as one client put it, “it’s when the tidal waves become soft ripples lapping at the shore.”

This work speaks to me, and I hope it speaks to you too.

Why choose to work with me?

You’ve always been someone who desires to understand yourself and the world around you on a deeper level. And, maybe you’ve tried to do that through your own self-work, talk therapy, or other healing modalities. It might feel like you’ve done healing work on lots of different parts of the puzzle but haven’t put the puzzle together yet. You yearn for sense to be made, and I can help you do that.

I value the learning and growing you have done leading up to this moment, and will use that work as a jumping-off point for our work together.

When I made the decision to become a psychotherapist, I knew that providing whole-person care was my goal and my office space is a representation of that goal.

For that reason, I share building space with a host of integrative providers offering services that include acupuncture, nutritional support, energy, and body work - and I love having such an amazing referral base nearby for you!

If you are interested in scheduling adjunctive healing appointments leading up to or following EMDR or KAP sessions, please let me know. You can learn more about the integrative providers at Whole Life Health Care here.

I am a learner at heart and I love growing my “therapist toolbox” for my clients.

Perhaps one of my most significant tools is that I have done my own therapeutic and journey work and I understand both the profound growth and vulnerability that stepping into either altered states of consciousness and therapy requires. This special combination of brain and heart-based knowledge allows me to provide a safe space for you to move through your wounds with both intuition and insight.

Consultation for Therapists

Most recently, my love of learning has moved me to provide consultation for therapists who are interested in incorporating deep healing and relationally focused practices into their work with clients. I am currently an EMDR Consultant in Training (did you know that as an EMDR therapist working towards certification up to 15 of your required 20 hours of consultation can be completed with a Consultant in Training?!).

If my therapeutic style matches yours, or if you have a special interest in the powerful potential of combining psychedelic therapies and EMDR, I’d love to talk about supporting you.

The boring stuff.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of NH and graduate of the UNH Masters in Social Work program.

I chose to pursue a degree in social work because, in addition to wanting to help people on individual levels, I’ve always been motivated to understand and change the larger powers at play. In fact, I often consider therapy to be a form of emotional activism.
